9 April 2021 - Community work day. We planted 108 kidney plant (Dichondra repens), and 120 weeping grass (Microlaena stipoides) and weeded in the western woodland. 5 volunteers - 18hr work. | |
28 March 2021 - Community work day. We planted 54 forest germander (Teuchrium corymbosum), 54 Poa ensiformis, and 44 sweet bursaria (Bursaria spinosa) and weeded in the western woodland. 6 volunteers - 22.5hr work. | |
25 March 2021 - Cleaned up party rubbish, and removed 2 chairs from near river bank. .5 hr work. | |
12 March 2021 - Community work day. We weeded in and north of billabong and mowed western woodland. Cleaned up party rubbish, demolished BMX jumps and demolished new cubby house on peninsular. 8 volunteers - 29hr work. | |
28 February 2021 - Community work day. We weeded north of billabong and slashed some blackberry in SE corner. 10 volunteers - 30hr work. | |
12 February 2021 - Community work day. We weeded north of billabong and cleared fallen trees from the dirt track north of billabong*. 6 volunteers - 22hr work. | |
11 February 2021 - Cleared fallen trees from dirt track north of billabong*. Replaced several notices on both sign-boards. 1.5hr work. When the trees fell and closed the path, notices were put at both ends to say the path was closed by fallen trees. The signs were torn down repeatedly and another path created around one trees destroying shrubs and groundcover. The trees were cleared to stop further destruction. | |
4 February 2021 - Planted 100 bidgee-widgee (Acaena Nova-zelandiae) on peninsular and north-eastern arm of billabong. 1.5hr work. | |
