Tools required - Hacksaw, drill for self-tapping screws. Construction time - about 15 minutes.
The single upright posts may be strengthened with another rail (2400mm) cut in half and inserted into the post (extra $11.00)
An alternative method to cementing the posts in to the ground could be to slide the posts onto star pickets driven into the ground. The star pickets would also strengthen the posts.
Notices were laminated and screwed on to the exterior ply with button screws. Perspex covers were considered but a survey of nearby noticeboards showed many were sprayed with graffiti. With the time and effort in cleaning, and the cost of the perspex sheets ($???), it was thought that the cost of replacing the laminated notices at about $0.30 per A4 sheet was better.
