9 July 2021 - Community work day. We planted 162 Tall sedge (Carex appressa) in the western woodland and on the south bank of the billabong. Also weeded on south bank of the billabong. 7 volunteers - 19.5hr work. | |

11 June 2021 - Community work day. Cancelled due to forecast flooding. The river rose to 5.2m due to local rain. The river rose to 6.8m on Saturday/Sunday 12/13 June due to floodwater from the Upper Yarra and the billabong filled to capacity. 14 May 2021 - Community work day. We planted 54 Kidney plant (Dichondra repens), 54 basalt daisy (Brachyscome multifida) and 54 tufted bluebell (Wahlenbergia communis) in the western woodland and weeded in the western woodland, picnic area, and north of the MYT. Planted 10 sweet bursaria (Bursaria spinosa) behind thew shipping container. 8 volunteers - 36hr work. | |
25 April 2021 - Community work day. We planted 54 Pelargonium (Pelargonium australe), 54 native violet (Viola hederacae) and 54 ruby saltbush (Einadia nutans) and weeded in the western woodland. 7 volunteers - 28hr work. | |

11 February 2021 - Cleared fallen trees from dirt track north of billabong*. Replaced several notices on both sign-boards. 1.5hr work. When the trees fell and closed the path, notices were put at both ends to say the path was closed by fallen trees. The signs were torn down repeatedly and another path created around one trees destroying shrubs and groundcover. The trees were cleared to stop further destruction. | |
